Sorry guys, not a lot of news on the music front lately. Really, nothing. However, an old song of mine is finally ready for public consumption. Milkyway Wishes, a Kirby Superstar album project, has finally been released on OC Remix. I arranged the first track on the album, "Kirby no Nozomi" or, "Kirby's Dream." I also arranged "Time to Learn" for the album, but it didn't make the cut. Still, I'd like if you listened to it! You can download it here or find it in the /remix/ section.
Apologies for not updating this site very often! I finally actually have some news though! You can download my new EP or purchase it HERE! It's the third EP in my "cyberpunk" series, heavily influenced by certain cyberpunk soundtracks, like Deus Ex or Ghost in the Shell. It is a free EP but I have given my fans the option to purchase it. You know, just in case!
In other news, I have been working on a few soundtracks. The first thing I worked on is a visual novel called Touhou Mecha, and features a lot of my favorite characters from the Touhou games in a sort of bizarre, Gundam-style alternate universe. Really cool! Chapter 1 is released right now, and I am pretty proud of the orchestral/synth hybrid soundtrack I wrote for it. Go read it now! When Chapter 2 is released I will release the OST on Bandcamp, and hopefully with extra tracks that you won't hear in Chapter 1 so far.
The second thing I'm working on isn't out yet, but it's another Touhou fangame, this time an actual shmup! It will be called "Touhou Myufodono ~ Eastern Mysterious Sealed Palace." A long-time goal of mine, scoring a shmup soundtrack. Humble beginnings for sure, but it's great practice for me. For this game I am emulating ZUN's style of songwriting, except my own style is in place to make sure the songs aren't bad [sorry ZUN!].
Download mp3. Download nsf.. So I entered Famicompo Mini this year, and the results are finally in, so I can "out" my song. I covered "Fire" by Tesla Boy, the coolest thing to come out of Russia since sliced borscht. No seriously though, I love this band, and Famicompo was the best excuse to cover something of theirs. I ended up placing 62nd out of 72 places, which totally isn't as bad as it sounds because the talent that is present in Famicompo is absolutely AMAZING. I'm proud to have participated in such a fine event, and even prouder that I even finished this damn thing and managed to turn it in. I hope you guys enjoy my song, and be sure to download all the other NSFs as well, there is some seriously incredible stuff in there.
Just finished a new tune. I called it "Phantom Bracelet" in honor of the 21 and over wristband I had to wear for the entirety of MAGFest X. It still feels like it's there as I type this. You can download the song here, or find it in the /single/ folder. MAGFest was awesome, as usual.
